Step three: Start spreading the word! Send out your announcement cards to all of your new ‘sphere’ members telling them about your new career and how you’re ready, willing and able to help them with their real estate needs.
Step four: Get social! There are a lot of incredible agents on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn who are amazing about sharing – go ahead and get connected and start learning how they are driving offline traffic online and getting connected with new prospects every day. Step five: Keep building. Make it a point to add new people to your sphere or book of business each week. Imagine if you added just ONE per day – that would be 365 a year! Did you know that on average, when consistently stayed in touch with month after month, agents receive a referral or business deal from one in every 12 people in their sphere every year? Food for thought! Keep building.
Step six: Never let them forget you! It’s said that most sellers would use their agent again – but very few do. Why? The agent doesn’t stay in TOUCH. Top of mind awareness is critical to ANY agent’s success- but even more so for brand new agents. Use smart agent tools such as newsletters, direct response postcards, holiday postcards, Every Door Direct Mail, social media or all of the above to create the kind of trusted relationships that will lead to a long and successful career.
